Learn to lockpick with Sparrows cutaway spool pin locks. These practice cylinders, which add security pins to the mix, will help you learn and improve your lockpicking skills. By observing the internal workings of the lock, you can see how different picks can manipulate each pin.
This Five-pin Spool version is perfect for learning how to pick more advanced locks. These high-security pins are designed to bind and give a false set. A false set will provide the feedback of having properly lifted the pin to the sheer line when, in fact, it has not been correctly set. With a cutaway spool pin lock, you can see and feel a false set and learn how to apply it in the field.
Sparrows Cutaway locks come in with standard or High-security pins. All cutaway designs currently feature a barrel key with a Schlage keyway.
