Peterson Bogie – Evasion and Escape Set is based on Petersons top selling Peterson Set of 3 Bogies 0.025 GSP “Bogie” style pick stacks. The uniform tapering from shaft to tip maximizes strength and eliminates stress concentrations that can cause picks to snap.

With good technique, instant opens are often possible.

Sere Style

Peterson followed Christina’s recommendations when designing these picks. These Peterson Bogies are similar to the SERE(tm) style. Peterson refer to these picks as E&E (Evasion and Escape.)

Smooth Operator

To ensure durability, the Peterson Bogies are made from our top end 10-95 spring steel. We use our kinetic tumbling system to gain an ultra smooth finish and excellent pick operation in the keyway.

One issue with existing picks of this nature, is the operational length tends to address 5 pins or less locks. One of our advances is to extend the reach so that locks having 7 pins or maybe more, can be manipulated.

An additional issue in Europe is the clutch action inherent within many of their locks. If the clutch is not pushed to the rear (normally performed by the key) you will find that you end up picking the plug, but the lock will not open. In this kit, you will receive both a standard pick for up to 5 pin locks, a longer type pick, plus a long turning tool that you can depress the clutch as you pick.
